Booking, terms and conditions

These conditions below apply where you yourself or through a third party enter into an agreement with Gyllene Turer in line with that set out in the booking confirmation. The agreement may concern accommodation, transport of luggage, purchase of other products and services, or a combination of these..

Booking

Bookings are made via a form on the website or by e-mail to info@gylleneturer.se You can also phone +46 (0)73 267 07 26. We register the booking and if all the details are correct, we send a confirmation with a booking number and payment information by e-mail or by post. Your booking will be binding for you and for Gyllene Turer as soon as it has been confirmed orally or in writing by us. The booking terms and conditions apply immediately whether you have paid the full amount, made a part payment or have not paid at all. 

Payment

A deposit of 10% of the total price of the package (deducted from the final payment) must be paid no later than 10 days after receiving your booking confirmation. The rest of the amount must be received by Gyllene Turer no later than 30 days before the start of the trip. If you do not pay in time, your booking will be cancelled and you will be charged in line with the rules under Cancellation charges, see below. If you book later than 30 days before arrival, the entire payment must be made immediately on booking. 

Cancellations and amendments

You can cancel your booking by e-mail to info@gylleneturer.se. State your booking number. Cancellation does not count if you cancel on behalf of a third party or directly to one of the providers of the package. Cancellation only applies once you have received a confirmation of your cancellation from Gyllene Turer. In the event of cancellation, charges are payable as set out in the rules on Cancellation charges, see below. SEK 500 is charged for re-booking a date or package. 

Cancellation cover

You can protect yourself against cancellation charges by taking out cancellation cover for SEK 300 per person. Cancellation cover means you can cancel your booking up until the arrival date without being charged, in the event of any of the following: a. Death, illness or accidents of a serious nature, affecting yourself, a spouse, partner, your or their parents, children, siblings or fellow travellers. b. Call-up for military service or civil defence. c. A serious event outside your control, e.g. extensive fire or flood in your home which means it is not reasonable to require you to stick to your booking. You must be able to corroborate the issue with a certificate from your doctor, an authority or an insurance company. Certificates received later than 7 days after the cancellation date will not be taken into account.

The fee for taking out cancellation cover, the amendment fee and the booking deposit will not be repaid. Cancellation cover can only be taken out at the time of booking.

Cancellation cover only applies when accompanied by providing a certificate from a doctor, an authority or an insurance company.

 

Cancellation costs

For cancellations
- earlier than 30 days before the start of the trip, 10% of the total price of the package, minimum SEK 500/person.
- 30-15 days before the start of the trip, 25% of the total price of the package.
- 14-2 days before the start of the trip, 50% of the total price of the package.
- 1 day - the date of departure, 100% of the total price. 

Minimum age for bookings

To book/enter into an agreement with Gyllene Turer you must be 18. When booking a group, at least one person must be 18. ID will be required on arrival. 

General terms and conditions

RESPONSIBLE ORGANIZER

The responsible organizer is Gyllene Turer AB, Halmstad, phone +46 (0)73 267 07 26, registration number
559396-2656, holds F-tax certificate.

As the organizer we are obliged to:
- ensure that you receive the necessary documents.
- inform you of all essential changes concerning your booking.
- pay suppliers for the services you have bought.
- make sure that the services purchased match the description.
We are not responsible for promises that the supplier or his or her contact may have made directly to you without our knowledge and which we were not aware of for services and products in addition to that set out in the description which were purchased directly from the supplier. (If you have entered into an agreement on something that is not covered by the organiser’s agreement, make sure that you are given it in writing and signed by an owner or contact).
- We are not liable for changes in the law and changes in price which are outside our control.

TRAVEL GUARANTEE
When you have purchased a complete package from Gyllene Turer you are protected by the Travel Guarantees Act (resegarantilagen) in that we have placed a guarantee with Kammarkollegiet for your security.

LUGGAGE TRANSPORT
Luggage transport applies only to adults. For cycle tours where luggage transport is not included and bought seperately all participants need to be added, 1 bag per person, max 20 kg per bag. It is not permitted to leave valuables such as money, jewellery, cameras, etc. with the baggage transport service. You must always keep your valuables with you and take responsibility for their safe storage yourself.

IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG
If all or parts of your journey arrangements cannot be delivered as in the confirmation, and if no replacement arrangements can be made, whose difference from those booked is so small as to be insignificant to you (e.g. a hotel of the same class and location), you have the right to cancel your booking. In such cases Gyllene Turer will repay what you paid them, with a deduction for the parts of the arrangement that you may have already used. If a transport service or an event included in your booking is cancelled at short notice, a refund will only be given for the transport service/event concerned. If you have complaints you must make them to us within 3 days of the arrival date. Errors arising during your stay must be reported immediately. This should initially be done to the seller/facility. If you have not sought redress during your stay and thus not given the seller/facility an opportunity to correct any defects, you cannot demand compensation afterwards.

If nevertheless, you are not satisfied with your compensation, you must notify Gyllene Turer of this in writing no later than 30 days after the departure date. Complaints made later than this will not be addressed.

YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
* You are obliged to check the booking confirmation yourself, as soon as you receive it. If you have not received a booking confirmation, you must contact Gyllene Turer, via info@gylleneturer.se or phone +46 (0)73 267 07 26. Any inaccuracies must be stated immediately.
* You bear full responsibility for your cycling, etc. during the trip.
* You have the same liability regarding hotels and other suppliers as applies for private travel.
* If the services promised in the package do not match or fail to meet the requirements made, contact us as soon as possible so that we have a chance to correct the problems, see the text above on If something goes wrong. 

IN THE EVENT OF DISPUTES
Contact us first of all with any complaints, see the text If something goes wrong. If we fail to agree, contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes. It consists of an impartial chair and representatives of travel organisers and consumers. Consumer advisors in your home municipality can also help you. If possible, complaints should be made during your stay. If, as a customer, you make a complaint that is not unjustified, Gyllene Turer will immediately take action to find an appropriate solution.

FORCE MAJEURE
If the trip cannot be run due to obstacles outside the organiser’s control that the organiser could not reasonably have anticipated when the agreement was entered into and whose consequences the organiser could not reasonably have avoided or overcome, the organiser is exempt from liability to pay damages or other consequences. The same applies even if the cancellation of the trip is due to someone hired by the organiser of someone else at an earlier stage.

THE PERSONAL DATA ACT
By paying for the trip, you consent to your personal data being processed by Gyllene Turer. The purpose of this is to enable customary guest administration, to ensure that Gyllene Turer has reliable personal documentation in the event of accidents, to fulfil the conditions for cancellation cover and to administer and deal with any injuries. You may also be contacted by Gyllene Turer for follow-up and market research.
